So..following those hectic last few weeks of high school, I have finally transitioned myself in to an interlude period as a part of the working class. Working a 9-3 job where all i do is coach kids basketball in a camplike setting. Following this first week, I am completely exhausted. It is just six ours of work, but it seems like forever. There are many perks to this job like seeing the kids actually improve and making a good amount of money. But also some downsides. One downside comes from a kid by the name of Jumaar, a mixed hispanic and black kid. He comes camp with good behavior until his parents leave. Then, once they leave, all hell breaks loose. While we are coaching the other kids, Jumaar starts to walk off. When we notice him and bring him back, he then throws a gigantico fit like those done in ABC's wonderful show SUPER NANNY. Then following the fit, he tires out and just lays there on the floor pretending to sleep. A few minutes later, Jumaar like an excited elf runs and starts to attempt to play basketball, but only breaks all the rules and gets the other children to complain about him. ehh... but praise God for the cute kids. they always make you feel better..
